Rosset had no chance against Ferreira, who won the match 6-1 6-2.

The Swiss number one has had a tough time of it ahead of the Wimbledon tournament scheduled to start next Monday. He has already had an early exit in the Stella Artois tournament after suffering from hayfever earlier this month.

Rosset had been hoping to get some preparations before his first match at Wimbledon, when he will face the Argentinian, Franco Squillari.
