Strong sales growth at Von Roll
The Swiss industrial group, Von Roll, has reported strong growth for 2000, with sales up by 11 per cent over the year to SFr1.7 billion ($1.1 billion).
In a statement on Friday, the company said new orders had risen by 18 per cent to SFr1.85 billion – compared to 1999.
The company gave no profit figures or outlook for the coming year, ahead of a news conference scheduled for March 20.
Von Roll was restructured in 1994 to focus on its core business. The company has divided its worldwide activities into three divisions: environmental technology, engineering and electrical insulation systems.
