Federer through to Den Bosch semifinals

Federer has reached his fourth semifinal of the season Keystone

Swiss number one Roger Federer has won through to the semifinals of the ATP tennis tournament in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Federer seems in good shape for next week's Wimbledon Championships after beating Dutchman Raemon Sluiter.

The teenager from Basel, who is seeded fourth, rallied after a first-set tiebreaker loss to take the next two sets.

Federer saved five break points at 2-1 down in the second set before breaking Sluiter’s serve a game later. He seemed more in control of his game, and wrapped up the match with a scorecard of 6-7, 6-4, 6-4.

In his fourth semifinal appearance of the season, Federer is set to face Australia’s Lleyton Hewitt in what is set to be a tough match.
