The igloo festival aims to break the igloo building world record. For an entry in the Guinness Book of Records, 400 people have to spend the night in 200 self-built igloos. The igloo construction will be supervised and the building materials, infrastructure, food and drink provided.

Where’s the snow? (2011)

This content was published on Nov 14, 2011 Winter shows no sign of arriving in the Swiss mountains, and some resorts have had to delay the opening of the ski season. Davos will open its lifts on November 25, instead of 18. Andermatt should have opened on 12 and has still not yet set a new launch date. (SF/swissinfo.ch)
