Swiss hockey juniors knocked out
Switzerland's junior ice hockey team have been knocked out of the quarterfinals at the Under-20 World Championships in Moscow.
Jakob Kölliker’s side were beaten 4-3 in Moscow by the Czech Republic and will now have to compete for fifth place.
The Swiss youngsters had led the Czechs 3-2 going into the final period but then let in three goals in less than three minutes.
Kloten’s 19-year-old forward Sébastien Reuille scored two of the goals with 18-year-old La Chaux-de-Fonds’ player Thibaut Monnet grabbing the third.
