Shake-up for Olympic curlers

Ott (centre) and Bidaud (far right) are each going their separate ways Keystone

Big changes are afoot for Switzerland's Olympic silver medal winning curling team, with two members of the side announcing their imminent departure.

The oldest member of the team, Laurence Bidaud, has decided to reduce her involvement in competitive curling although she still intends to play a role in the development of young Swiss talent.

The 33-year-old will be replaced in the Bern AAM side by Olympic substitute player Nadia Röthlisberger.

Team number three Mirjam Ott is leaving to form her own team and will be replaced in the Bern side by former Solothurn player Carmen Küng.
