Jean Tinguely created the large kinetic sculpture Heureka from iron bars, steel wheels, metal pans and pipes for the 1964 national exhibition in Lausanne. Today, Tinguely’s “idling machine” stands on the Zürichhorn, a park on the shores of Lake Zurich.
