Switzerland in pictures
Due to the risk posed by Lumpy Skin Disease found in cattle in France, the traditional alpine descent of cows from mountain pastures have to be cancelled at various locations in Valais and Vaud. Some alpine descents will simply take place without bovines and will feature St. Bernard dogs, horses, sheep and goats instead.
