One Swiss has been killed and 19 injured in a bus crash in southern Turkey, the Swiss foreign ministry has confirmed.

The accident happened on Tuesday between Korkuteli and Antalya in the Mediterranean region of Turkey, an area very popular with Swiss tourists.
The Swiss Air Rescue Service (Rega) sent an ambulance jet to the area on Wednesday to repatriate the injured. Two of the survivors sustained serious injuries.
Switzerland’s honorary consul in Antalya is in contact with the local authorities and the travel agency involved.
The foreign ministry did not comment on the possible cause of the crash. According to Turkish media reports the group was returning from a day trip when the bus hit the central crash barrier before colliding with a wall.
