Swiss motorcyclist killed at Magny-Cours

A Swiss motorcyclist has been killed during a training session for this weekend's 24 hour Bol d'Or race at France's legendary Magny-Cours track.
Herbert Graf suffered serious head injuries after losing control of his machine on Friday. The 39-year-old rider was then airlifted to hospital but failed to recover consciousness after suffering an apparent brain haemorrhage.
The experienced motorcyclist was recently suspended by his Swiss racing team Bolliger after failing a doping test in May. He had since completed a 30-day ban for the offence and was racing for the German team Shaffer Mo Devil at the time of his fatal accident.
