Swiss win two curling medals
The Swiss women’s and men’s teams both won bronze medals at the European curling championships in the Swiss resort of Champéry on Saturday.

The women, playing first, beat Russia 9:5. The men then defeated Germany 7:4.
It is the fourth time in the last ten years that both teams have won medals. Last year each won silver.
In the women’s final, Sweden beat Scotland 8:6 to take gold, while in the men’s final Norway beat Denmark 5:3.
