Ascom Names Unisys Executive As Chairman
Ascom Holding AG, the Swiss telecommunications equipment group, said on Monday it has named Alfred M. Rüssli, formerly at Unisys Corp., to succeed chairman Felix M. Wittlin (picture).
Ascom Holding AG, the Swiss telecommunications equipment group, said on Monday it has named Alfred M. Rüssli, formerly at Unisys Corp., to succeed chairman Felix M. Wittlin (picture).
Wittlin, 70, will step down at Ascom’s annual general shareholders meeting on May 17, 2000. He has been chairman since 1994, and a member of Ascom’s board since 1991.
Swiss Rüssli, born in 1942, has been with Unisys since 1970, serving most recently as vice president marketing computer systems since 1997 in the company’s Philadelphia headquarters.
