Artistic dig at resort hosting World Economic Forum

A leading enfant terrible of the European art scene has taken a pop at Davos, the normally sedate Swiss mountain resort turned into a fortress ahead of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.

Thomas Hirschhorn, one of Switzerland’s most controversial artists, has portrayed the eastern ski destination as a village under siege in his exhibition, ‘The Economic landscape of Davos.’ He explains the significance of the work. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)
