Security measures for the Biden-Putin summit in Geneva

Special security measures are being put in place for the Geneva summit on June 16 between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The talks will take place at the Villa La Grange, an 18th century villa with surrounding park and lake view.

The Villa has been cordoned off with barbed wire and is being prepared for the historic event.

Local airspace will be restricted for three days and the public will be banned from accessing Lake Geneva and lakeside streets in the city centre.
