In November, the sun disappears from Ticino’s Val Bavona and will not return until March. The Postbus only resumes service in April. Photographer Silvana Rodriguez has visited the deserted valley in the winter time and documented it in a photo book. Valle Bavona in ombra is a tribute to the dark side of sunny Ticino.
