Swiss ice hockey giants Bern are through to the play-offs after beating Fribourg 3-0 in the final regular games of the season.

Despite wins over Kloten and Chur during the weekend, Lausanne will now have to battle it out in the relegation games.

In other games, Chur beat team leaders Davos 2-1. Lugano followed up Saturday’s 3-1 win against Rapperswil-Jona with strong performance against Zurich Lions, defeating them 4-0.

The line-up for the quarterfinal games, which will take place from February 28, was also set on Sunday: Davos-Bern, Lugano-Zug, Fribourg-Kloten and Ambri-Piotta against Zurich Lions.

In the play-outs, Fribourg will face Chur, and Langnau will play against Rapperswil-Jona.
