Businesses increasingly optimistic post-crisis
More small and medium-size Swiss businesses are upbeat about the current economic outlook.

Of the 700 companies questioned in June, 92 per cent described their situation as good or relatively good. In February, 89 per cent of those surveyed said business was doing well.
A quarter of the companies said that they planned to invest in infrastructure and equipment. Another quarter said they would hire more people, while five per cent said they intended to cut jobs.
Forty-one per cent of those questioned said that they believed the economic situation would improve within the next half year. Just three per cent thought it would get worse, with the rest predicting no change.
