Credit Suisse Names Negri, Huijts to Head European Equity Sales

Dec. 11 (Bloomberg) — Credit Suisse Group AG named Andrea Negri and Rolf Huijts as co-heads of sales in its equities division for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News.

Negri previously ran equity-derivatives sales for the region, and will continue in that role, Stephen Dainton, head of European equities, said in the memo to employees. A spokeswoman confirmed the contents of the memo. Negri, who is based in London, joined Switzerland’s second-largest lender from Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in 2009.

Huijts was previously head of cash equity sales for France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. He has been at Credit Suisse since 1999, and will continue to be based in Amsterdam, according to the memo.
