ART: Impressions of Drawing Restraint
Schaulager, Basel, on now till October 3, 2010
The exclusive exhibition includes two brand new works by Matthew Barney on shown for the first time. Drawing Restraint 17 and Drawing Restraint 18 were both created in May 2010 at the Schaulager. Barney’s pieces enter into a dialogue with works of Christian iconography by artists such as Martin Schongauer, Urs Graf and Lucas Cranachthe elder.
