Julia Steiner: Mythen-Lied
Swiss folk songs. The farming housewife Julia Steiner from canton Schwyz, Central Switzerland, entered the Swiss charts this year by surprise with her song Mythen-Lied. This success led the singing and accordion playing autodidact to record an entire debut album. Mainly accompanied by double-bass she delivers on it traditional Swiss folk instrumental pieces along with sung originals. Throughout this music shines due to her honesty and ear-catching simplicity.
