
The Music of Heinrich Schweizer.

Alpstein-Suite; Symphonic Bagatels; Love in Spring; Trio for flute, bassoon and piano after themes by Sri Chinmoy, East West Symphony, Swiss Panorama, Historical Symphony-Suite; Impressions of Singapore, Five Days in Avignon and other compositions. Heinrich Schweizer was born in Switzerland in 1943. Studies at the Bienne and Zürich Conservatory. Diploma as an orchestra performer in 1967. Graduated as a teacher of musical theory six years later. The composer completed his 'Historical Symphony' in 1974. Schweizer has been influenced by elements outside the European traditions (African music, Indian ragas and Chinese music). He has been lectoring at conservatories and universities in China, Singapore, Australia and Germany.
