Vince Benedetti Hardbop World: Granada Calling
Straight ahead / hard bop. American expatriate pianist Vince Benedetti, now settled in Spain, was a long time Swiss resident and during five years dean of the Swiss Jazz School Berne. Thereby as a jazz teacher and performer he has left a remarkable stamp on the Swiss jazz scene. Granada Calling recorded for the Swiss jazz label TCB canvases Benedetti's artistic essence at its best. Along with his new all Spanish band Hardbop World he plays elegant and soulful hardbop.
