
Food retailer Migros ends its historic van service
In 1925 the first vans selling household products at cheap prices took to the streets of Zurich. The event marked the birth of Migros – Switzerland's largest retailer. After its heyday in the sixties, demand for the service has been in constant decline ever since. Now Migros is ending the historic service. (Michele Andina, swissinfo)
