The view from Rigi Kulm, Arth, canton Schwyz
A book of photographs from artist Hansjürg Buchmeier portrays Pilatus from every conceivable angle, revealing the splendour of the most famous mountain in central Switzerland. Buchmeier spent years photographing the mountain from 800 different places. The best images are contained in "Pilatus. Ein Berg. Hundert Ansichten" (One mountain. A hundred views.) An essay by writer Peter von Matt complements the book, published by Brunner Verlag, Kriens (2005). swissinfo.ch
