Readers name air travel favourites
Swiss International Air Lines and Zurich airport have both been rated highly by international business travel specialists.
Readers of the “Business Traveller” magazine voted Swiss the “best airline for Europe” for the third year in a row, the airline announced on Friday.
It received top ranking in the categories of in-flight and ground services, cabin crew, lounges, comfort and seat pitch.
The airline came second in the poll for best direct and connecting flights to North and South America.
Magazine readers also named Zurich as the world’s third best airport, behind Singapore Changi and Hong Kong. It came top in the category for transit travel.
The magazine’s annual awards are regarded as among the most prestigious in the field.
