
Around the world in a solar boat
In autumn 2010, the Swiss solar boat “PlanetSolar” embarked on a world tour. The 19-month adventure took the catamaran across the United States, the Panama Canal, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Persian Gulf.

PlanetSolar’s tour around the world began on September 27, 2010, in Monaco and finished on May 4, 2012. Among the six crew members is founder Raphaël Domjan.
