Three women injured, man shot by police in Swedish city of Vasteras, police says

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – Police said on Friday they had shot a man in connection with an incident in which three elderly women were attacked in the city of Vasteras in Sweden.

The three women, aged somewhere between 65 and 80, were attacked by a man using a sharp object, police said.

According to daily Expressen one of the women and the assailant are being treated at hospital for serious injuries.

The Swiss-Tunisian Mustapha Djemali (left) has been in prison for over a year without charge. His daughter Yusra Djemali and his son Fadhel Djemali are very worried. They would like to see more commitment from the Swiss authorities.
