
Three women injured, man shot by police in Swedish city of Vasteras, police says

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – Police said on Friday they had shot a man in connection with an incident in which three elderly women were attacked in the city of Vasteras in Sweden.
The three women, aged somewhere between 65 and 80, were attacked by a man using a sharp object, police said.
According to daily Expressen one of the women and the assailant are being treated at hospital for serious injuries.
