Markus Fuchs puts on creditable show in Aachen

The Swiss rider, Markus Fuchs, came fourth at a Grand Prix show jumping event in Aachen, Germany, on Sunday. He was bound for a higher ranking but for knocking down a third last fence.

Fuchs, a 45-year-old rider from Sankt Gallen was on Tinka’s Boy, and earned a creditable fourth place.

The Grand Prix was won by the German, Otto Becker, on Cento who put in a faultless performance. He was followed by Jos Lasink of the Netherlands and another German, Markus Beerbaum, in third place.
