Leica Geosystems launches on Swiss bourse
Leica Geosystems, based in canton St Gallen, has listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange. The share price was fixed at SFr375 per share at the start of trading.
The group specialises in the development, production and distribution of systems for the capture and processing of spatial data for surveying, mapping and positioning.
The placement of 1.54 million shares, with a nominal value of SFr50 per share, was carried out by Credit Suisse First Boston.
The company, which has its headquarters in Heerbrugg, will be traded on the principal section of the SWX Swiss Exchange.
