Drawings and prints by C.W. Kolbe (1759–1835) one of the most intriguing figures in late 19th century German art, are on show at the Kunsthaus. With his fantastical, almost surreal landscapes featuring woods and marshes, Kolbe exerted a considerable influence on the graphic arts between Sturm und Drang and Romanticism.
