The Italian-Swiss Radio Light Orchestra (LS 6/1976)

The Light Orchestra of the Italian-Swiss Radio is the oldest established of the three regional Radio Light Orchestras in Switzerland.

Founded in 1940 by the late Fernando Paggi, it is now under the direction of Mario Robbiani who personally takes care of the orchestral arrangements and sound supervision. The Light Orchestra of the Italian-Swiss Radio is in constant demand for concert, radio and TV performances within Switzerland and also abroad and has accompanied many leading international artists. The orchestra comprises several smaller formations and has a widely varied repertoire ranging from current pop to jazz and specialising in Italian songs and Latin American numbers.

On this edition the Light Orchestra of the Italian-Swiss Radio features again the vocal group “The Musicals”.
