Kratochvil through in Kitzbühel
Switzerland's Michel Kratochvil has sailed into the second round of the ATP tennis tournament in Kitzbühel, Austria, with a straight sets win over Radomir Vasek of the Czech Republic.
The 21-year old from Berne showed little sign of exhaustion following his efforts for Switzerland in the weekend’s Davis Cup victory over Belarus. Following the 6-3, 6-3 victory, Kratochvil will now face Ecuador’s Nicolas Lapentti, seeded fourth in the 700,000 dollar event.
