Protected animals face fierce opponents

Moves are afoot in Switzerland to reduce the protection enjoyed by endangered wolves. The Swiss agreed to save the species when they signed the Bern Convention on environmental protection. But farmers and hunters are up in arms over the large number of livestock and game that have fallen prey to the predators, and want the wolf protection laws relaxed. (Julie Hunt, swissinfo.ch/SF)
