Swiss mountain region promotes “clean” mobility

The Haslital and Goms mountain region has shown its green credentials by launching the “Alpmobil” project, promoting electric cars. Visitors who want to hire a car and explore the region can now choose from a fleet of 60 two-seater, battery driven “Think” vehicles. Batteries can be charged at any hotel, and the local TCS breakdown service is trained to deal with any problems. (Julie Hunt, swissinfo.ch)
