Wawrinka set to face Murray at Wimbledon
Stanislas Wawrinka has qualified for the fourth round of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
Switzerland’s number two defeated Jesse Levine of the United States, he last qualifier still remaining in the men’s draw, 5-7, 7-5, 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday.
Wawrinka will face Britain’s Andy Murray in the next round on Monday.
“Of course Murray is a very good player. But I have a chance to win if I play aggressively and if I serve well,” Wawrinka said.
“It will be a great experience to face the favourite player of the spectators and one of the hottest contenders.”
On Monday Wawrinka’s compatriate, world number two Roger Federer, will play Sweden’s Robin Söderling who lost to the Swiss star in the final of the French Open earlier this month.
