The world is in the middle of a money revolution: cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are becoming more important, cash is threatening to disappear and banks fear for their profits.
This week, Geldcast host Fabio Canetg talks to Dirk Niepelt, macroeconomics professor at the University of Bern. Niepelt researches the current upheavals in the monetary system and in the Geldcast Update, he talks about the future of money, the banks’ business model and digital central bank money
