ART: Ernest Biéler. Dreamt Reality

Ernest Biéler (1863-1948) grew up in Lausanne and studied art in Paris. The retrospective shows his early impressionist work and symbolist and realistic artworks. Many of his paintings were influenced by the Art Nouveau style. He also designed furniture. Chairs, painted wall decorations and a secular glass window are also on show.
