Ludwig Senfl. Works for Martin Luther and the Reformation. Ensemble Officium.
Renaissance composer Ludwig Senfl (1486-1542) was born in Basle or Zurich. He began as a chorister under the direction of Heinrich Isaac, whom he later succeeded as composer to the court of Emperor Maximilian I. Martin Luther knew Ludwig Senfl personally.
