Classical. London resident Matthias Bamert, originally from canton Berne, is a multi-faceted person. During the 80s the conductor-composer was principal director of the renowned London Mozart Players. At the same time he won the Lucerne Festival further worldwide recognition as its appointed artistic director. Now Bamert teamed up again with the LMP and enlarged their highly successful "Contemporaries of Mozart" series by a Boccherini Symphonies chapter in which the Italian master's music comes alive with clarity and quicksilver agility.
