Singer-songwriter / blues / folk. El Cucuy, the traditional boogeyman of Mexico, is the bearer of fear and disease. The origin of the word "boogeyman" is the Swiss German "böögg" who was a masked character doing mischief and frightening children during the carnival season. To this day, the end of the Winter is celebrated by the burning of the "böögg" in Zurich.
