Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741): concertos op. 10 no. 1 'La tempesta di mare', no. 2 'La notte', no. 3 'Il gardellino', no. 4, no. 5, no. 6; concerto in A minor RV 440; concerto in D major RV 429. Emmanuel Pahud was born in Geneva in 1970 and started to study music at the age of six. After graduating from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he continued his studies with Aurèle Nicolet. Aged only 22, Pahud was appointed principal flute of the Berlin Philharmonic.
