Whether collected by himself or found on the internet, whether presented as originals or thoroughly retouched and greatly enlarged, Rigolini’s photographs invite us to examine the way we see and perceive images. Surrogates, part of his Concept Car exhibition, is being shown simultaneously at the Swiss cultural centre in Paris and the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne.
