
An imam for Bern’s prison
Since the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris, prisons have been making the headlines in connection with Muslims, as some of the terrorists had been radicalised in jail. According to Bern-based Imam Mustafa Memeti, in Switzerland the risk of this happening is significantly lower. This is also thanks to Memeti’s work with Muslim inmates at Bern’s Thorberg prison.
