Swiss federal prosecutor to become U.N. war crimes prosecutor?
Swiss Federal Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte is now tipped to be a favourite candidate for the post of the chief prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Del Ponte met U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Thursday.
