The juxtaposition of contemporary artworks and ancient artifacts is not arbitrary, and the elements that link them are not made immediately clear by tags or labels: the viewer is free to find the associations.

Buergel rejects the common practice in which mediation ('Vermittlung', or 'educational programs') is subordinated to the curatorial work. For him, curating is by itself an educational mission that should never underestimate the intelligence of the public. In the picture: working sketch by the Object Researchers - students of the Erich-Kästner-School, partner of the exhibition, who are asked to redesign the museum as they see fit.
