D’ Sagemattler. Music from Unterägeri, 1887.

Back to the roots. Alpine dance music of the Sagemattler 'Tanzmusig' from Unterägeri, canton Zug, in its original arrangements that Anton Iten (a contemporary of Johann Strauss Junior) wrote down in 1887.'Tanzmusige' went on foot from place to place with their clarinets, flutes, violins, double basses, tumpets, horns, trombones, percussion and their dusty shoes.
Musicians (members of the Tonhalle Orchester Zurich): Isabel Neligan, violin; Johannes Gürth, viola; Florian Walser clarinets; Heinz Saurer, cornet; Frank Sanderell, double bass.
