Fabian M. Müller: Monolog
Modern / Solo Piano. Fabian M. Müller is an up-and-coming pianistic talent from eastern Switzerland. After promising albums at the helm of FM Trio, Monolog (Monologue) marks his solo piano debut. Müller's style is strongly rooted in Late Romantic classical music and the sound textures of the early 20th century. Nevertheless Monolog spreads a loose jazzy feel reminiscent at times of the frail charm of a Ran Blake. Other pieces have an electrified punch à la Randy Weston. With his monologue Müller travels many different paths on a fascinating search for his very own future style.
