Jean-Luc Darbellay (*1946) studied clarinet at Berne Conservatory and then conducting with Pierre Dervaux and Franco Ferrara. Courses in composition with Hallfter, Terzakis, Denisov. He completed his training with master-classes given by Klaus Huber and Heinz Holliger.
