J.J. Raff: Symphony No.2, Suite for Orchestra (CD TUDOR) swissmusic

J.J.Raff was born in Lachen, canton of Schwyz. A meeting with Liszt in Basle led to posts with music publishers. From 1850 he worked as the great man's amanuensis in Weimar. 1877 director of the Hochsche Conservatoire in Frankfurt.
