Simon Jaquemet, the film director who dreams a lot
For a film director to win international awards for his very first film is already unusual. But for him to be Swiss as well, is practically unheard of. Yet, Simon Jaquemet has pulled it off.
Now he’s back on the big screen with his psychological drama “Der Unschuldige” (“The Innocent”). It’s his second film. The first, a teenage drama entitled “War”, won critical acclaim internationally and was awarded ‘Best Film’ by Swiss critics in 2015.
